The Lisbon Sports Club, founded in 1922, had its origins in the Lisbon Cricket Club, which in turn had been born in 1873.

As one of the oldest clubs in the country, LSC was one of the four founding partners of the Portuguese Golf Federation, being affiliated number 2.

The LSC was born within the British community which had come to Lisbon in the beginning of the 19 th century, and it has succeeded in maintaining the characteristic features of a club that owns all its sport and social facilities and which belongs to its members and is administered by them.

The Lisbon Sports Club is essentially a family club where its members are mainly engaged in the practise of golf and tennis and the use of the swimming pool and the restaurant.  It is also part of a unique green area which is located about 20km outside Lisbon and it remains free of the real estate projects which are usually the main reason for the construction of golf courses in Portugal.

The Lisbon Sports Club offers the following facilities:

  • One 18-hole golf course 18 holes Par 69
