The course

LAYOUT

An always different and always demanding course

The Lisbon Sports Club golf course is in Serra da Carregueira, about 20km from Lisbon and Cascais, being a typical 18-hole course – PAR 69.

Along its 5,261 meters, it finds a very rich forest biodiversity and where a watercourse accompanies it almost all the way.

The layout of the course corresponds to that of a typical Scottish course, with some ascents and descents that make each hole different from the previous one. And it is proof that a not too long course can be a lot of fun.

There are several unforgettable holes, but the 1, 3 and 18 are often referred to as the highlights of the course. They stand out for their natural beauty, unique design and degree of difficulty.

Hole 1 is a beautiful PAR 3 of 169 meters, with elevated tees that allow to contemplate all the surroundings. A different and challenging way to start the course. The always fast green is surrounded by 3 bunkers and the whole right side of the hole is accompanied by a water ditcher.

Hole 3 is also a PAR 3 with 176 meters, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in Portugal. Also with elevated tees it has a front water ditcher in the middle of the fairway, which follows the right side of the green. The vegetation in this hole is stunning, completing a unique layout.

Hole 18 is the biggest challenge for the players, not only because of its length, but also because it has a water ditcher that winds along the course to the green, which is protected by 2 bunkers.

Given the abundance of water, the LSC golf course presents for most of the year an excellent quality of fairways and greens, bringing the last to the level of the best golf courses in Portugal.

Surrounding the course is the Serra da Carregueira, with a great variety of natural vegetation, whose greenish tones compose a stunning landscape..
